The Czech government has expressed its solidarity with the Syrian people, stressing its readiness to provide all possible support in relief efforts for those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said, "The government of his country has allocated 10 million kronor, equivalent to 417,000 euros, to help Syria deal with the repercussions of the earthquake that hit it," explaining that the amount allocated by the government will be provided to Syria through the International Red Cross and the High Commissioner for Civil Affairs. refugees of the United Nations.
Lipavsky indicated that the Czech aid will arrive in Syria next week, as it will include materials for the needs of workers in the health sector and for people who have become homeless due to the earthquake.
