The Syrian embassy in Iran called for solidarity with those affected in Syria by the earthquake, which resulted in hundreds of victims.

The embassy said in an announcement: “In embodiment of the cohesion between the people of the country and in solidarity with our people who were affected as a result of the devastating earthquake that struck Syria, and within the framework of the emergency national action plan set by the Syrian government to mobilize energies and capabilities to face the results and repercussions of the earthquake at all levels, the embassy announces in cooperation with the branch The National Union of Syrian Students in Iran expressed its willingness to receive donations from the community and those wishing to extend a helping hand, in cash or in kind, to overcome the effects and repercussions of this harsh natural disaster.

The announcement indicated that the embassy can be reviewed for this purpose during official working hours or by calling the numbers listed in the advertisement.

The Syrian Ambassador to Iran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub, held an expanded meeting in which, in addition to members of the embassy, ​​some members of the community and the leadership of the National Union of Syrian Students in Iran participated to discuss the necessary arrangements to facilitate the participation of the members of the community in Iran in the aforementioned donation process.
