The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, received this morning a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, during which he conveyed the condolences and sympathy of Tunisian President Kais Saied and the Tunisian people to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic, expressing solidarity with the families of the victims and those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria. .
Minister Ammar pointed out that the humanitarian support provided by Tunisia comes to alleviate the human suffering of the Syrian people.
In turn, Minister Mekdad congratulated Minister Ammar on his appointment as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia, wishing him success in performing his duties.
He also expressed his thanks for the high solidarity expressed by the Republic of Tunisia and its leadership towards the Syrian Arab Republic, and Syria's appreciation for the humanitarian assistance and support provided by Tunisia to face the repercussions of this natural disaster, noting the depth of relations between the two countries, and Syria's aspiration to develop cooperation with brothers in Tunisia, including It serves the interest of the two peoples in the two brotherly countries.
