The police are investigating claims that a caregiver at a private daycare used violence against two-and-a-half-year-old children.

The parents, who contacted the owner of the kindergarten, were shocked to hear her back up the nanny and claim that the children "already learn the whole practice of lying, children lie."

The suspicion of the parents of the children who are in a daycare center in Hadera arose that their children were being abused by one of the nannies after, over the course of a few months, three of the kindergarten children returned and complained to their parents that one of the nannies was using violence against them.

The parents took pictures and recorded their children testifying that the nanny hit them.

Following this, the parents recently filed a police complaint against the nanny.

The police collected the security cameras from the kindergarten, and these were handed over to the investigators for examination.

"The children fantasize. The children are liars"

In light of the accumulated evidence, the parents demanded that the nanny not come to the kindergarten until the complaints were clarified, but the owner of the kindergarten continues to employ her.

In a charged conversation with one of the mothers, the director of the kindergarten denied the violence, claiming that she was there most of the day.

To the mother's astonishment, the owner of the daycare told her in the conversation: "You should know that the children among them also fantasize a lot, there are children who beat (them) and they slander someone on the other side. They are already learning the whole practice of lying. Children are also liars, you have to understand that ".

The father of one of the girls in the kindergarten said: "For two months our girl has been repeating a story that the therapist (her name is withheld in the system) beats her. She tells us: she 'makes me hurt', 'she hits me here.' This assistant welcomes her. As soon as she sees us - she immediately starts crying. This only happens with that assistant."

The girl's parents inquired with other parents at the kindergarten, the mother noticed unusual behavior in their children, and indeed brought up that two other children told about violent behavior on the part of the nanny.

The parents claim that the owner of the kindergarten is covering up for the caretaker in an absolute way, despite the recordings that showed that there is aggressive speech towards the children in the kindergarten.

Following this, they contacted the police and filed a complaint.

The police stated: "The Israel Police takes seriously any harm to minors and the helpless, and accordingly, immediately upon receiving the complaint, an investigation was opened. It is conducted thoroughly and professionally and includes, among other things, the investigation of children by welfare officials. The investigation is in progress, and naturally we will not go into detail regarding ongoing investigations, but we will add to act and investigate in order to reach the truth".

The owner of the kindergarten refused to address the claims.
