2023-02-08T09:38:28.453Z

The Parisian edition of the British reference magazine for outings awarded its first Food and Drink Awards on Tuesday February 7 at the Palais de Tokyo.

For its first Food and Drink Awards, Time Out Paris saw things big.

More than 500 guests in a privatized Palais de Tokyo, sustained by the cream of fashionable chefs (Chloé Charles, Katsuaki Okiyama, Manon Fleury, Gianmarco Gorni and Andrea Sham) and fed by equally renowned mixologists (Aurélie Panhelleux, Corentin Gaudin , Guillaume Quenza and Sara Moudoulaud).

Alain Ducasse (whose restaurant Aux Lyonnais was nominated for an award) even made a remarkable appearance in front of the amazed gaze of those present.

Reference magazine for outings in London, Time Out, launched in Paris in 2012, is confined to Paris, to a website.

Why launch a new burst of prizes in an already saturated universe, from Michelin to Gault&Millau, via Fooding or the List?

"Simply to highlight these plates and glasses that bring tears to your eyes, this welcome that makes you want to move in at the counter or these great meals more memorable than a week's vacation with friends... In short, prices like thanks to the people who create exceptional moments for us in their restaurant or bar and who make Paris still and always a cool megalopolis”

explains the group of Houssine Bouchama, editor-in-chief.

A speech - and a prize list - reminiscent of those of Fooding, champion of the
