The deceased, a 46-year-old man surnamed Chen, and his 42-year-old wife, surnamed Li, lived in Chang'an Village, Tsing Yi. Xiangshan Village was the residence of the deceased woman's grandmother.
Neighbors in Chang'an Village expressed surprise when they learned that both of them fell from a building.
The neighbor said that they lived in the house for more than 20 years and moved out during that time, saying: "The thing about burning charcoal must have happened in 10 years, and after burning it was carried to the hospital." Then they moved back.
It is understood that it was burning charcoal due to financial difficulties. At that time, someone knocked on the door to chase after the number.
The neighbor continued that the male deceased had a job and was fairly hardworking. He left early and returned late, but he suspected that he had bad habits.
"I have a drug addiction, I can see it, (walking) swinging around", and I smoked so hard that the whole house and corridors were filled with the smell of smoke, and the neighbors felt that "it is better to avoid it".
They have a son (in his teens) who lives with his grandmother, and occasionally comes back to collect pocket money from his mother.
The couple often quarreled over monetary issues, and there were noises before the Lunar New Year. Unexpectedly, both of them went to hell.
