With announced lack of Christianity, comebacks and secrecy, Alberto Fernández receives mayors of the PJ

2023-02-08T00:56:09.155Z

In Olivos several Peronist community leaders close to Christianity were absent and there were others who had not been in Merlo. Claim for national funds and prelude to the political table of the FdT.

The list of the mayors of the first and third electoral section that

Alberto Fernández

summoned in the Quinta de Olivos for a barbecue was not confirmed either in the Casa Rosada or by the guests until late at night.

And there were reasons.

The invitations were paid by the Secretary General of the Presidency Julio Vitobello, who promised the mayors that it was a management meeting to discuss funds and works.

The participation of the Minister of Economy

Sergio Massa

was also expected , who warned -a priori- that he would arrive later.

The municipal heads of Peronism have been demanding since the end of last year the funds that the Nation promised them to transfer directly, without passing through the coffers of the Buenos Aires government of

Axel Kicillof

.

This is the first of the four disbursements of

$10 billion

that -according to the mayors, the President and Massa promised- and the mayors claim to be able to pay salaries and, of course, to be able to show works and management for the campaign.

The issue was brought up again

at the meeting in which mayors, Kicillof, and the head of La Cámpora

and the Buenos Aires PJ Máximo Kirchner participated in the governor's office last Tuesday.

He barely flew over the after-dinner meeting of the Frente de Todos de la Provincia, in Merlo, hours later.

There, the President had no personal delegates.

The head of state, however, remained somewhat calm, because he felt represented by his two ministers,

Gabriel Katopodis

, of Public Works;

and

Santiago Maggiotti

, from Habitat.

Both

returned to the game

on Tuesday night in Olivos.

From Tuesday to Tuesday there were

changes in the cast

.

Juan Zabaleta

, from Hurlingham and in an internal dispute with La Cámpora in his district, was absent in Merlo and present in Olivos.

The same was done by

Fernando Espinoza

, from La Matanza, and

Andrés Watson

from Florencio Varela.

The same thing happened with Alberto Descalzo, from Ituzaingó.

Mario Ishii, from José C. Paz, also hit the foul on Merlo and said he was present at the presidential residence.

"First the homeland," said one of the mayors closest to Fernández.

Among the mayors closest to Kirchnerism, on the other hand, there were casualties and a lot of secrecy.

The mayor of Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, from La Cámpora was not part of the game.

Nor were Leandro Boto, from Luján;

nor Juan Ustarroz, from Mercedes.

“We can imagine why,” said a Fernández delegate.

Jorge Ferraresi

, from Avellaneda, and former Minister of Habitat, who a few days ago whitewashed that he works for Cristina Kirchner to review her decision not to be a candidate, warned that he was away on vacation.

Ariel Sujarchuk

, on leave in Escobar, was not the acting mayor,

Carlos Ramil

, either .

Other mayors on leave - weighty and very close to La Cámpora - preferred secrecy, such as

Martín Insaurralde and Daniel Menéndez

from Lomé, from Merlo, who are closely aligned with the son of the vice president.

Finally they made it known that their respective interim replacements would go.

The first argued that he is a provincial official;

from the environment of the second, they raised family issues.

"If he hadn't gone," they insisted.

Fernando Gray

, from Esteban Echeverría, was one of the few who did not attend either of the two appointments.

While he seeks for the Supreme Court to grant his demand to remove

Máximo Kirchner

from the PJ presidency, he also avoids for now participating in meetings that -for him- never add up.

In any case, he does not plan to abandon the pro-government front.

There is always talk of politics, works and funds

”, they explained in the President's inner circle.

Fernández is preparing to head the electoral table of the Frente de Todos, where Kirchnerism has already warned that it wants the direction of the Government.

Fernández prepares his own troops.
