Île-de-France: how to benefit from the partial refund of 37.60 euros for the Navigo pass

If you hold a Navigo pass or held one at the end of 2022, you will soon be able to benefit from a partial refund.

After an end of the year marked by a clear deterioration in the quality of service in Ile-de-France public transport, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) announced this Thursday unprecedented compensation of up to 37.60 euros.

Or the equivalent of half a month of monthly Navigo subscription, at the price of 2022. Who is eligible?

Who is concerned ?

All Navigo subscribers who purchased at least three months of the package over the last four months of 2022 - i.e. between September and December 2022 - are eligible for the half-month refund campaign.

Annual Navigo subscribers are also affected, as are the Navigo Senior, imagine R Student, imagine R School and Navigo Solidarity Month 75% and 50% packages.

When will the reimbursement take place?

To benefit from compensation, users must make a request on a dedicated platform, on the compensation space of Île-de-France Mobilités.

It will open on March 14 and Ile-de-France residents will have one month to submit their request.

How to claim compensation?

On this platform, users will be asked to justify their possession of a Navigo pass for at least three of the last four months of the year 2022, either by simply giving their Navigo pass number, or by providing bank statements proving payments.

And for RER users?

In addition to this exceptional compensation available to all holders of a subscription, Île-de-France Mobilités announced Thursday "

a reimbursement paid to users of the most degraded RER and train lines, in accordance with the contracts signed with the RATP and the SNCF for two years

”.

In detail, this compensation - which can be added to the general reimbursement campaign - concerns users of five axes of the network, located on lines B and D, who posted a punctuality rate of less than 80 last year. % for at least three months.

For users of the RER B North line, on the Aulnay-sous-Bois - Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle 2 TGV and Aulnay - Mitry-Claye lines, as well as users of the RER B South line on the Parc de Sceaux - Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse: if you have had a 6-month ski pass out of the months with less than 80% punctuality, you will be reimbursed for one month's ski pass (up to 75.20 euros).

If you have held between 3 and 5 months of the package out of the months showing punctuality of less than 80%, you will be reimbursed for half a month of the package (up to 37.60 euros).

On the RER B Sud line, on the Bourg-la-Reine - Robinson axis, and on the RER D line on the Goussainville - Survilliers-Fosses axis: if you have held between 3 and 5 months of pass on the month with less than 80% punctuality, you will be reimbursed for half a month's package (up to 37.60 euros).

To benefit from this compensation, users must either provide proof of address, or prove their place of work (pay slip or employer proof) or their place of study (school certificate), or send their Navigo pass if they have an IDFM Connect account, we specify at IDFM.
