A van driver filled up with diesel in glass bottles at the OMV in Holzkirchen - and was very drunk.
The police stopped the 26-year-old on the spot.
Holzkirchen
– A recalcitrant driver of a small van refused to be dissuaded from filling glass bottles with diesel fuel.
This is reported by the Holzkirchen police, who were called to the OMV filling station on the Maitz on Wednesday, February 8th, at around 7:30 p.m. because of the behavior of the 26-year-old customer.
Breath Alcohol: Customer was heavily intoxicated
The patrol officers finally persuaded the driver to fill the fuel into suitable canisters instead.
However, the driver had apparently not only tapped at the gas station: "During the check, the officials heard a clear smell of alcohol from the driver of the white Mercedes Sprinter."
Police stop driving
"The onward journey was stopped and the key secured," writes the police.
The driver also had to have his blood drawn.
He now faces a criminal complaint for drunk driving.
