It was the American brand that put the famous pink
Simpsons
donut on sale a few years ago.
After the announcement of the burger chain in the United States Wendy's, which should soon settle in France, it is the turn of the overseas specialist in donuts Krispy Kreme to confirm its arrival in France.
Alexandre Maizoué, general manager of Krispy Kreme France, also tells BFMTV that the first store will open in Paris
“at the beginning of September”.
Entry into the French market was made possible by the creation, last November, of a joint venture with Wagram Finances, owner of the Columbus Café chain.
For the moment, the American brand was only present in the United Kingdom in Europe.
The company, which hopes to open eight shops in Paris, will offer a production of its donuts in front of its customers.
"The objective is to dramatize the places of sale"
, specifies Alexandre Maizoué.
The Dunkin'Donuts competitor also wants to open 80 franchises in different stations or even some in shopping centers.
If the specialist does not rule out the idea of investing in other French cities, he is only concentrating on the capital for the moment.

“I am very excited at the idea of being able to establish Krispy Kreme in France, with very ambitious objectives.
Krispy Kreme is an incredible brand that I discover a little more every day, much appreciated by consumers wherever it is present, offering a unique product, very accessible, which can be sold in all distribution channels
