On the third day of the trial, the prosecution continued to make opening statements and began to elaborate on the roles of the defendants in the case. The chief prosecutor mentioned six defendants who had participated in the primary election during the hearing today, including: Peng Zhuoqi , Yang Xueying, He Qiming, Liu Weicong, Huang Biyun, and Shi Delai mentioned the words and deeds of each person during the election campaign, including their remarks in election forums or their responses during interviews.

Joshua Wong and other people who attended the court were also listening attentively, and the officer reminded them that this is not a social gathering.

On the second day of the trial, the prosecution continued to read out the opening statement. After the first day, it was mentioned that Dai Yaoting and others began to mention their primary election and "speculation" claims in 2020. The trial on the second day basically explained The time sequence of the entire primary election plan (see the table below for details), and the "Ten Steps to Speculation" mentioned by Dai in detail, and pointed out that Dai and others began to actively prepare for the primary election in May 2020, including working with People from different regions hold coordination meetings, and organize democratic power crowdfunding and arrange voting stations.

On the evening of June 30 of the same year, the "Hong Kong National Security Law" came into effect, and Dai Yaoting and Au Nuoxuan still claimed that the primary election was legal.

The election was held in July of the same year and 31 representatives were elected, including 27 accused.

The prosecution also broadcast a clip of one of the coordination meetings, but the clip was suspected to be filmed offstage.

In the pan-democratic 47-person primary election case, the trial of 16 defendants who pleaded not guilty officially started.
