A mother and her toddler son were injured tonight (Wednesday) in an apartment that burned down in Be'er Sheva.
The mother, Almiya Nebert (30) is hospitalized in the intensive care unit while being ventilated and sedated.
Her toddler son, one year and three months old, is hospitalized in the children's ward for oxygen therapy and his condition is described as mild.

A crowdfunding campaign has been opened for the benefit of Almia and her son Surfar "Let's help them get back on their feet!", reads the announcement calling on the public to help and raise money for the family that was severely injured in one night.
Six other people were injured in the severe fire, some of them in serious condition due to smoke inhalation and various injuries.
All the injured were evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
Avinoam Ya'akov, a medic and deputy head of the Ihud Hatzla branch in Be'er Sheva, said: "We are talking about a mother and her son, about one and a half years old, who were rescued by the fire crews from their apartment, where a fire broke out in a serious condition.

"With the help of an ambulance team of the Rescue Union, we gave them first aid and then they were taken to the Soroka Medical Center suffering from breathing problems due to smoke inhalation. We also gave assistance at the scene to four victims in moderate and light condition."
