Damascus-SANA
The Syrian Teachers Union called on members of the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Teachers, heads of Arab organizations in the Union of Arab Teachers, and teachers around the world to lift sanctions against Syria and to participate in a social, educational union solidarity campaign in this field.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the union issued a distress call to help those under the rubble following the catastrophic catastrophe that befell a people who endured injustice, siege and suffering to an extent that cannot be tolerated after twelve years of unjust global war and unfair economic blockade.
The Syndicate demanded, on behalf of teachers in Syria, to participate in a social, educational, trade union solidarity campaign against an unjust and inhumane law to lift the siege on the Syrian people and abolish the “Caesar Law” through social media and audiovisual and print media in the face of the repercussions of the earthquake, so that their voice would be a humane appeal to those with living consciences, abolishing penalties and securing Medicine, food and building what to destroy.
