The Social Nationalist Party in Yemen expressed its solidarity and standing by the Syrian people following the devastating earthquake that struck Syria recently and left hundreds of victims and wounded, calling for lifting the unjust American and Western blockade imposed on Syria.
The party said in a statement, a copy of which SANA received: “We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to His Excellency President Dr. Bashar al-Assad and the dear Syrian people, first and foremost the families of the victims, and we wish a speedy recovery for the wounded and injured, and salvation for those who are still under the rubble and the missing,” appealing to countries and governments of the world and international organizations and bodies to Extending a helping hand to Syria and its afflicted people, and avoiding double standards in dealing with these natural disasters that befell the brotherly Syrian people.
In its statement, the party called on the United Nations and the international community to put pressure on the American administration and the European Union to lift the blockade and sanctions imposed on Syria unjustly and aggressively.
