Haim Balach, the ZAKA commander in the Israeli delegation, said: "On our way to another collapsed building, a local resident stopped us and asked for our help in locating his family in the area.

We immediately went into action and were able to locate the bodies of the five members of his family.

It was a difficult sight to see a person receiving his family members when they were lifeless."
