The Embassy of Ukraine also issued an extensive statement of condemnation, which reads: "We send our sincere condolences to the families of those who were killed in today's attack in Jerusalem, including a six-year-old boy. We pray together with the residents of Israel for the recovery of the injured. Unfortunately, terrorism and harm to civilians is a reality that Israel must deal with. And Ukraine will live and we call for an end to this."
The French embassy tweeted: "A new trampling attack in East Jerusalem left at least two dead and several more injured. We support from the bottom of our hearts the relatives of the victims of this cowardly attack. The violence must stop."
The German ambassador to Israel, Stefan Seibert, tweeted: "Heartbreaking news about another brutal terrorist attack near Jerusalem, which killed two people, including a small child. There is nothing that can justify the trampling of innocent people at a bus stop. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and the injured victims. May they heal completely".
