As-Suwayda - SANA
With a civil and popular initiative, a relief convoy was conducted this morning, provided by the people of the town of Al-Qarya in the southern countryside of As-Suwayda, for the earthquake-affected people in Lattakia Governorate.
The convoy included two trucks loaded with canned goods, foodstuffs, infant formula, winter clothes, shoes, blankets, mattresses, pillows, and food baskets, in addition to bread.
Omran Matar, one of those in charge of organizing and preparing the relief convoy, indicated that all the materials that were sent were provided by all the people of the town, and they departed from the town of Al-Qarya after coordination with those in charge of relief work in the shelters in Lattakia.
