We remember life and live it deeply and immersively, and we forget the pains, with what we Syrians carry of energy that is not ordinary, an energy that is unparalleled in absorbing disasters and wars and enduring their consequences, an energy that we have experienced, and we keep a huge amount of it in our minds and our forearms that bear arms in the face of our enemies, and heal Our wounds are from the horror of adversity and the harshness of circumstances.

It is rare for us Syrians to be shaken by speeches, and in the crisis that passed through the Syrian people, the people lived deeply in the heart of life. We did not forget or forgot about life at any point in time. We do not turn away from it, for life is our path, we search for it right and left, with feelings of confrontation, and the support of friends in all parts of the world.

The earthquake that hit the country, after years of unjust war against it and unjust sanctions, added another deep wound in the hearts of the Syrians, but it certainly will not break the will to live that was firmly instilled in all hearts. Any sense of humanity in his warlike veins.

However, the voices of friends and their blood, in which the pulse of humanity flows, always line up on Syria’s side. From France, a number of parliamentarians and political and social figures called for the need to urgently and immediately lift the unjust American-Western blockade imposed on Syria to face the repercussions of the earthquake that struck it, claiming hundreds of victims and wounded. The earthquake, from their perspective Humanitarian added a devastating natural disaster to the human tragedy of the Syrians.

Parliamentarians and political and social figures in France said in a press statement: “We call on the French government and the European Union to urgently and immediately lift the economic sanctions imposed on Syria.”

They called for all NGOs and associations authorized or likely to work with the Red Cross to help the earthquake-affected population in Syria be eligible for funds mobilized by France and the European Union.

The voice that came from France was clear and said, “Twelve years ago Syria was in the grip of an endless war, and the unilateral sanctions that severely affect the civilian population make the situation today intolerable for the thousands of Syrians living in temporary housing, and the simplest humanitarian concern.” It requires immediate and urgent lifting of sanctions on basic foodstuffs and medical supplies.

The stance that was issued by parliamentarians and political and social figures in France has an impact and value and must reach its goal. It contains the vocabulary of humanity even in times of disasters and tragedies.
