By Tim Lister, Maria Kostenko
A Russian cruise missile crossed the territory of Moldova on Friday, the Ukrainian governments in Kyiv and Moldova allege in the capital of Chisinau.
"The responsible structures within the institution detected, at 10:18 a.m. (3:18 a.m. ET), a missile, which crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, over the city of Mocra in the Transnistria region and, later, over the town of Cosauți in the Soroca district, in the direction of Ukraine," the Moldovan Defense Ministry said on Facebook.
The Moldovan Ministry of Defense "strongly condemns the violation of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova."
General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, also reported the violation of Moldovan airspace on his official Telegram channel.
Russian missiles have crossed Moldova, which borders Ukraine, on several occasions throughout the war.

Russian attacks on Ukraine's electricity infrastructure overnight are causing disruptions across the country, the state power company said on Friday.
Ukrenergo said in a statement on Telegram that several high-voltage infrastructure facilities had been hit in the western, eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, causing power outages.
"In addition, last night the Russians attacked energy infrastructure with drones and rockets targeting power plants and transmission system facilities. Ukrenergo is taking preventive measures and emergency shutdowns have been introduced," the statement said.
Ukraine under attack: Power outages follow a series of Russian attacks.

Russia attacks Zaporizhia and Kharkiv with up to 35 missiles, Ukrainian Air Force says
By Maria Kostenko, Mick Krever
Russian forces attacked the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia and the northeastern Kharkiv region with dozens of missiles overnight into Friday, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"The enemy attacked the Kharkiv region and the Zaporizhia region with up to 35 S-300 surface-to-air missiles that cannot be destroyed in the air with anti-aircraft defense," the Ukrainian Air Force said on its Facebook page.
The Soviet-era S-300, designed to shoot down fighter jets, has been crudely repurposed by Russia to attack ground targets during its war against Ukraine.
Russian forces also fired C-300 surface-to-air missiles from across the border in Belgorod and from the occupied city of Tokmak in southern Ukraine, the air force added.
Aircraft sirens sounded across Ukraine this Friday morning as authorities warned of a possible widespread attack by Russian missiles.
The air force said Russia struck critical infrastructure overnight from the Black Sea with seven Iranian-made Shahed drones and six cruise missiles.

Air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine on Friday morning as authorities warned of a possible widespread Russian missile attack.
Explosions have already been reported in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia and in the Kharkiv region, and the threat of missile attacks has been reported in other parts of the country.
Maksym Marchenko, head of the military administration of the Odessa region in southern Ukraine, said on Telegram that there are "enemy aircraft in the sky" and "Kalibr-type missile carriers are at sea."
"The enemy has launched missiles," Marchenko said.
Ukrainian authorities reported sporadic Russian strikes on Thursday night with Iranian Shahed drones, the kind of assault that depletes air defense and has often preceded a broader wave of missile strikes.
There do not appear to have been any casualties from the Shahed attacks.
The head of the military administration of the city of Kyiv said on Friday that there is "a great threat of missile attack".
Power
cuts: DTEK, the power supply company, implemented emergency power cuts in the capital and the Kyiv region, and in the central Dnipropetrovsk region in anticipation of Russian attacks.
Earlier, a Zaporizhia city official stated that Russian forces had attacked energy infrastructure.
