This new regulation restricts access to these urban spaces, mainly city centres.

The sesame is the Crit'Air sticker that must be affixed to your windshield and which classifies vehicles according to, to put it simply, their year of construction.
Strong social or geographical disparities
Know this: from December 31, 2024, all agglomerations of more than 150,000 inhabitants will have to have their ZFE-m.
That is more than 40 cities.
Around 500,000 vehicles will thus be banned from driving in certain parts of the territory.
