The meeting will be on Wednesday afternoon at the historic headquarters of the workers' union. Parities, price control policy and the future of the economy, on the agenda.

In a photo that will offer an important

message in the midst of the already heated internal dispute in the Frente de Todos

, the

CGT

board of directors will receive the visit of the Minister of Economy,

Sergio Massa

, next Wednesday at its historic headquarters on Azopardo street.

to analyze the economic and social scenario, the start of joint negotiations and the price policy to contain inflation.

Massa's landing in the CGT, which was coordinated in recent days by leaders of the entity's leadership, led by the triumvirs

Héctor Daer and Carlos Acuña

, will take place on the day prior to the start of the political table convened by the president Alberto Fernández to face the internal debate of the electoral strategy of the ruling party.

And, although the agenda of the visit does not contemplate any analysis on electoral matters and Massa publicly denied on multiple occasions that he was evaluating a presidential candidacy, the appointment will demonstrate the oiled dialogue that the minister consolidated with the CGTS front line in recent times and will show the growing enthusiasm of the union world with the possibility of a postulation of the official.

"We are not going to talk about candidacies, it is not part of the agenda," one of the main referents of the workers

' union told

Clarín regarding the meeting scheduled for next Wednesday afternoon.

The focus of Massa's presentation will focus on the

analysis of the economic and social situation

and the government's prospects for the coming months, right in the middle of the electoral campaign.

In this sense,

the dynamics of the new round of parities will be central

.

The official's plan points to the intention of anchoring expectations, for which he intends -in parallel to the price control policy- to prop up a

salary guideline around a 60% annual increase scheme

(with two semi-annual agreements of increases in 30%) with revision guarantee.

In this objective Massa advanced in mid-January at first in agreement with the referents of the large unions of the CGT so that they consecrate this pattern of increase in their respective parities.

However, until now only the definition of the agreement between the administration of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and the union that represents the Buenos Aires municipal authorities ended up replicating the percentage sought by the minister.

On the other hand, the

parity of the UTA bus drivers

(advance had been made with a 31% recomposition scheme in three sections for the first half of the year) is stalled due to the negotiation that the companies in the sector maintain with the Government for the increase of the subsidies.

The

discussion of the bankers

who met again this Thursday within the framework of the parity that started in January was not unblocked either, but they failed to accelerate an agreement and the union led by Sergio Palazzo is preparing to launch measures of force after the Carnival holidays .

The other central point that the trade unionists hope to discuss with the minister, closely linked to the salary negotiation, will be the policy that the official will deploy to guarantee his commitment to bring monthly

inflation

below 4%.

In this regard, from the CGT they accompanied the relaunch of

the "Fair Prices" plan

that Massa led last Friday, but they indicate that they are waiting for the definition of new measures to prop up the inflationary slowdown.

"It is the key because otherwise no one is going to commit to 60% parities," warned another of the leaders of the leadership of the workers' union.
