Daniel Passarella
will be at the
Monumental
on Sunday the 12th to be part of
River
's tribute to the world champions in Qatar.
The two-time champion in 1978 and 1986 confirmed his presence and this Friday he spoke about it in an interview with TyC Sports.
It will be his return to Núñez after almost 10 years, when he said goodbye as president after a management that was marked by judicial questions but mainly by a sporting factor that was the relegation of River.
"I never hesitated to return to the Monumental," the former soccer player and also former manager of the Millionaire entity began.
"I would understand if they don't receive me well," he later commented.
"I know that I am not to blame for River's descent," he said in another section of the talk with Líbero journalists.
