Lattakia, SANA- Rescue teams today recovered 13 bodies from under the rubble of the destroyed building as a result of the earthquake on Al-Aqsa Street.

Today, rescue teams recovered 13 bodies from under the rubble of the destroyed building as a result of the earthquake in Al-Maliya Street in Jableh.

The head of the civil defense rescue team in Jableh, Lieutenant Colonel Suleiman Ali, told SANA reporter that seven bodies were recovered this evening from under the rubble of the building, pointing out that rubble removal operations are continuing at the aforementioned site, with the participation of a rescue team from the Russian Federation.

And the director of Jableh Hospital, Dr. Qusai Khalil, stated that the death toll from the earthquake in Jableh has so far reached 292 deaths and 179 injured.

Brigadier General of the Syrian Army, Bassam Nassif, indicated in a previous statement that six bodies were recovered this morning from the Finance Building in Jableh.
