For those who don't remember,
Dreams
is a creation game that was originally released in February 2020 for the PlayStation 4 console. It offers a set of simple and accessible tools for any user, at any level, to allow them to build and create their dream games.
It is about every style and every genre.
From shooting games, adventure games and even point and click.
If you can dream it - Dreams will help you create it.
The first days of the launch were not particularly impressive.
Here and there we saw some interesting and invested exits, but the players were just learning to use the tools and how to develop their imagination.
Three years have passed since then and the community has only continued to play and create.
Although it is not particularly large, it is certainly fertile.
So prolific that one of the active creators got a job in the industry thanks to one of his final products.
This week, Thomas Meller, the CEO of Moon Studios who developed the masterful platformers Ori and the Blind Forest and Will of the Wisps, wrote on Twitter that they decided to hire a developer whose entire past experience was developing a game in Dreams. User Eupholace,
created The 3D platform game
Trip's Voyage
, and it presents rich and creative worlds with a game that draws a lot of inspiration from Nintendo's Mario games. Starting with the jumping mechanics, the character's positions, and the creativity of the stages. You can see the final result for yourself in the attached trailer.

In the post that Moon Studios published, it was stated that the new position in the company will be as a stage designer: "We decided to hire this designer. He is 20 years old, he worked for two years on a project at Dreams and today he will work as a stage designer with us."
These days the studio is working on a new action role-playing game, and apparently the same player will take a very active part in its development.
Actors and independent creators becoming developers in the industry is not a very common step, but it has certainly happened quite a bit in the past.
The most prominent example of this is the company Valve, which is responsible for the Steam platform for the personal computer, and is known as a distributor that adopts into its ranks marginalized people and creators of the company's games.
Two of its flagship games, Counter Strike and Dota 2, originally began as fan mods for Half-Life and World of Warcraft (respectively).
Since then, these two games are still considered iconic and leaders in the eSports industry.
