Prime Minister, Eng. Hussain Arnous, received a phone call today from Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, during which he offered condolences to the Syrian leadership, government and people for the victims of the recent earthquake that led to huge human losses and widespread destruction in a number of Syrian governorates.
The Pakistani Prime Minister affirmed his country's stand by Syria in these difficult circumstances and its readiness to provide relief and medical assistance to those affected by the earthquake to overcome this painful ordeal and to alleviate the suffering of the affected and injured.
For his part, Engineer Arnous expressed his thanks and appreciation for Pakistan's position and its support for the Syrian people to overcome the catastrophic effects of the devastating earthquake, considering that this position of the Pakistani government confirms the depth and strength of the relations between the two friendly countries and peoples.
