A vehicle crashed into a bus stop where many people were staying.

A police officer shot and neutralized the terrorist, who had a blue ID card from East Jerusalem.

His father, 42 years old, was operated on at Hadassah Mount Scopus and did not attend the funeral.

The brother of the victim, 10 years old, is hospitalized in a minor condition after being injured in the attack.

A senior police official stated that the shooting to neutralize the terrorist was at short range by two police officers.

The terrorist did not carry a weapon.

One of the murdered is Shlomo Alter Lederman, who got married only six months ago.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gabir, who arrived at the scene, said: "Obviously, these measures are not enough at the moment.

The death penalty should be enacted for terrorists, next week we will advance the law on carrying weapons." Ben Gabir was greeted at the scene with angry chants: "You lied to us."

The terrorist is Hossein Karake, 31 years old from the Issawiya neighborhood in East Jerusalem.

The neighborhood says that the terrorist lived in the neighborhood with his family and that he has a blue ID card, but is not from the neighborhood itself.

His family is originally from the Daisha refugee camp near Hebron, an area where the Popular Front is dominant.
