The first arrest occurred in 2010 when he went to a Bogotá police station to request his judicial records since he wanted to start a business.
The second arrest occurred the following year in 2011 when he was detained again, this time spending two months in the infamous La Picota jail.
This time he had been called to testify at the police station after his workplace was robbed.
But then, when the police put his name into the database, he was once again flagged as the drug lord.
