Lebanese party and popular activities carry out voluntary and solidarity campaigns to support the Syrian people

The Lebanese partisan, social and popular volunteer activities continued their tireless work to support the Syrian people afflicted by the violent earthquake and the unjust American and Western siege imposed on them.

Today, the General Directorate of Civil Defense - the Islamic Health Authority in Lebanon announced the launch of a campaign of solidarity with the brotherly Syrian people under the slogan (Rhama), to collect and receive in-kind and financial aid, to deliver it to the survivors through its centers spread over all Lebanese lands, in response to an invitation from Hezbollah. .

In the same context, the Imam al-Mahdi Scout Association in Lebanon launched a campaign (Merciful), to collect and receive financial and in-kind donations in support of the brotherly Syrian people.

In turn, the head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon, former minister Asaad Hardan, said: The social nationalists have formed emergency committees in their partisan regions, to provide aid and all forms of assistance to those affected by the earthquake, in parallel with the formation of medical and ambulance teams for rescue and relief, along with the Syrian state institutions.

Hardan stressed the need for countries and humanitarian organizations to shoulder their responsibilities by providing the required assistance to Syria and the Syrians, pointing out that failure to provide serious assistance constitutes a crime against humanity, especially after the earthquake disaster.

Hardan described the recent American decision regarding the so-called Caesar Act as a deception through which the United States is trying to appear before the world with a human appearance, while it has fallen from the realm of humanity, because of its wars and invasions against peoples and states, its sponsorship and support for terrorism, and its imposition of unjust coercive measures on Syria, calling To intensify campaigns and pressures at all levels to break the siege imposed on Syria.

In turn, the head of the National Center in North Lebanon, Kamal Al-Khair, organized a meeting in solidarity with the Syrian people in Al-Minya area, to call for breaking and ending the siege imposed on the Syrian people, and dropping the so-called ill-fated Caesar Law, announcing a special humanitarian initiative from him, which is a convoy of food aid, which will be delivered The stricken Syrian regions in the coming days will have a kind of solidarity with the brotherly Syrian people and an expression of loyalty to Syria, which has always stood by Lebanon in all the difficult stages that we went through.

The Secretary-General of the Workers’ Association, the former Lebanese MP, Zaher Al-Khatib, called during a popular meeting in Shehim – Iqlim Al-Kharroub to focus on the priority of standing in support of Syria in the face of the catastrophe of the earthquake that struck it, stressing that the suffering of our people in Syria is mainly caused by the unfair American blockade by the so-called law Caesar and the global terrorist war waged by the United States and its agents and spies against it.

The Economic and Social Forum in Lebanon also called for the abolition of the unjust blockade and all kinds of sanctions imposed on Syria.

The People's Relief - Akkar branch launched a campaign of financial and in-kind donations to help the earthquake victims in Syria.

For its part, the People's Rescue Regiment of the Martyr Marouf Saad Foundation in Sidon announced in a statement the launch of a relief campaign to support those affected by the earthquake in Syria, and to receive in-kind aid at its center in Sidon, to deliver it directly to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.

The Director of Operations of the People's Rescue Regiment, Abdel Halim Antar, confirmed that two of the regiment's two ambulance teams went to the city of Aleppo, to support the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and other emergency teams in the relief operations, explaining that the two teams include ambulances, a number of paramedics, and necessary medical tools for rescue.
