Real Madrid won the Club World Cup for the fifth time after beating Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal 5-3 in the final on Saturday, braces from Federico Valverde and Vinicius Jr and a goal from Karim Benzema.
European champions Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Vinicius and Valverde extended their lead five minutes later, but Al Hilal hit back with a Moussa Marega goal on the counterattack.

Benzema and Valverde increased Real Madrid's lead with point-blank shots on 54 and 58 minutes respectively, but Luciano Vietto closed the gap for Al Hilal on another five minutes later.
Vinicius added another for Real in minute 69 and Vietto scored his second of the night 10 minutes later to round off a match with several goals to the delight of the Moroccan fans.
