Running a relief aid convoy from Damascus to the affected people in Lattakia Governorate

Today, Al-Quds Charity Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, sent a relief aid convoy to those affected by the earthquake in Lattakia Governorate.

The convoy included 6 trucks containing foodstuffs, clothes, mattresses and blankets to meet the urgent and necessary needs of those affected.

Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Yasser Al-Ahmad, confirmed that the ministry is working to provide all the facilities and support necessary to coordinate and organize the civil effort to deliver aid to those who deserve it as quickly as possible, pointing to the importance of the efforts made by non-governmental organizations in various governorates to respond to relief for those affected.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Nizar Al-Masouti, explained that the process of collecting the necessary materials for the people in the affected governorates continues, and another convoy is scheduled to run in the coming days to the city of Aleppo.
