The season finale of "Der Bergdoktor" promises to be extremely exciting.
After Martin decided to go to New York, Linn and Lilli left the Gruberhof with their suitcases packed and pissed off.
Is it goodbye forever?
Ellmau, Tyrol – “Der Bergdoktor” has been delighting its fans since 2008.
But anyone who thinks that season 16 will be quieter is wrong.
Things continue to be turbulent on the Wilder Kaiser.
Because in the season finale, not only mountain doctor Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl, 53) decides to leave the Gruberhof.

The big season finale of "Der Bergdoktor" promises to be a roller coaster of emotions.
After Martin Gruber decided in episode 7 to close his practice in Ellmau indefinitely and to move to Franziska (Simone Hanselmann, 43) in New York, many worry that he is actually leaving the Wilder Kaiser forever.

The family drama with his brother Hans is too much for Bergdoktor Martin Gruber.
The likeable country doctor therefore wants to go to New York for a while – to his ex-girlfriend Franziska and their son Johann.

But while Martin is packing his overseas suitcase, Hans (Heiko Ruprecht, 50) is struggling with years of resentment towards his brother.
He just can't forgive him - and this pent-up hatred also jeopardizes his relationship with Linn and Lilli.

“Der Bergdoktor” was already on the air in the 1990s.
From 1992 to 1997, the doctor series was still on Sat.1.
At that time, Gerhart Lippert (85) took on the role of the mountain doctor as Dr.
Burgner.
But after only four seasons, Burgner died in serial death and Dr.
Hallstein (Harald Krassnitzer, 62) became the new mountain doctor
.Despite good ratings, Sat.1 canceled the series after only five years.
Finally, ZDF secured the rights to the series – with success.
Because even after 16 seasons, there is still no series finale planned.
Sad season finale at the Bergdoktor: Lilli, Linn and Martin leave the Gruberhof
In the last few episodes, there was always a heated argument between Hans and Linn (Andrea Gerhard, 39).
She keeps trying to mediate between the brothers, but he doesn't feel understood or respected.
In the Bergdoktor season finale, the scraps fly again, but this time Linn has had enough and she packs her bags.
"I love you Hans.
And I understand your pain, really.
But the way you're behaving right now, there won't be much left of my feelings soon," she explains to a completely overwhelmed Hans.
"I'm going to drive around Germany and visit my sisters.
And please don't call me until you stop thinking that the world revolves around you."
Was that the last time we saw Linn or is she coming back to Gruberhof in the next season?

While Hans is totally surprised that his girlfriend has moved out, Lilli (Ronja Forcher, 26) can't hold back her anger.
When she finds out about this, she makes serious accusations against Hans.
"First you throw Martin out of the yard and now you chase Linn away?
If you're feeling bad, everyone else must be feeling bad too!
Is that your only answer?” Lilli said, pissed off.
She doesn't want to protect Martin at all: "What Martin did wasn't right.
We all know that.
But that was so long ago!
Now is the time when you have to talk to each other again, to approach each other!
The Martin is part of your life and so is the Linn!”

Lilli (Ronja Forcher) cannot understand her father's behavior.
First he throws Martin out of the yard, now he's chasing Linn away as well.
She also leaves the Gruberhof furiously pissed off.

But Hans remains stubborn.
She and his mother would finally have to get used to the fact that he no longer wants Martin in his life.
Lilli can't and doesn't want to endure this hate anymore.
“Then you can do without me too!” says Lilli, hurrying into her room and packing her suitcase.
She now wants to stay with the Pflugers.
“Maybe Dad will finally wake up then!” she explains to Grandma Lisbeth.
But it shouldn't be goodbye forever.
"It won't last long, I'll be back!" she insists.

So it's going to be highly dramatic again at the Wilder Kaiser.
The season finale of "Der Bergdoktor" will be broadcast on February 23.
