Today, the branch of the Syrian Trade Corporation in Tartous transported ten cars loaded with 1012 baskets containing food and relief items to the governorates of Lattakia and Hama, which were collected and packed with the concerted efforts of government institutions, popular organizations and civil society.
The director of the Syrian Trade Branch, Mahmoud Saqr, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the cars were loaded with health and food baskets, infant formula, detergents, tissues, vegetables, clothes, mattresses, blankets, and water bags.
And Saqr indicated that, during the past few days, cars containing foodstuffs, fruits, vegetables, water, clothes, blankets, shoes and pillows were also prepared and sent to Lattakia Governorate, indicating that the work is continuing and the mechanisms and cadres of the Syrian trade in Tartous are working around the clock to send more materials during the coming days.
