The Council of Voluntary Institutions in the Jordanian city of Fuhais launched a donation campaign for the victims of the earthquake in Syria.
The head of the Al-Fuheis Cultural Forum, Basil Al-Daoud, said in a statement to SANA reporter in Amman: “The campaign that was launched today will continue for three days, and it will collect various donations to help the brothers in Syria,” noting that the door for cash donations has been opened in order to purchase the required materials.
Al-Daoud pointed out that a number of institutions in the city are contributing and supporting the campaign, including the Fuheis Municipality, the Fuheis Cultural Club, the Fuheis Reconstruction Foundation, the Orthodox Club, the Fuheis Women's Union, and branches of a number of Jordanian trade unions, stressing that this campaign comes from the unity of blood and destiny that binds us to the Syrian people.
