Dr. Sayoh explained that Syria is suffering from a major humanitarian crisis, especially after the earthquake that hit a number of governorates, which caused great burdens on the state in light of the limited capabilities due to the unjust blockade imposed by the West, calling on the International Committee to intervene and actively participate and work to meet the needs of families who have become homeless. .

The governor called on the International Committee of the Red Cross and United Nations organizations and bodies to put pressure on the United States to lift the siege imposed on the Syrian people, which violates all international covenants and covenants, pointing out that the people of al-Hasakah suffer daily violations due to the presence of the American and Turkish occupations and those in their orbit.

The participants in the meeting called for the need to put pressure on the American and Turkish occupiers and those in their orbit to neutralize the educational, health and service institutions in general, especially the Alouk water station, and to increase the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross for the health and education sectors and support for infrastructure projects.

In turn, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross pointed out the importance of implementing some of the special needs in Al-Hasakah governorate, pointing out that she, accompanied by the mission, toured many sectors in the governorate to see their reality and the possibility of providing assistance.

For his part, the head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch, Ali Mansour, indicated that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent is a partner of the International Committee of the Red Cross on the ground, and a number of sectors related to water, electricity and sanitation were visited, pointing out that the governorate suffers from a water crisis and alternatives must be searched for.
