A convoy of aid from Lebanon reaches the people affected by the earthquake in Aleppo Governorate

A convoy arrived in Aleppo this evening, including relief materials, food, clothing, and civil defense equipment provided by the Independent Nasserite Movement and the Nasserite Popular Organization in Lebanon for those affected by the earthquake.

In a statement to the media, the Secretary of the Leadership Body in the Independent Nasserite Movement, Brigadier General Mustafa Hamdan, explained that the Arab Nasserite national campaign in Lebanon came to return the favor to the pure Syrian blood that was shed not only in the current tragedy, but twelve years ago in defense of all the sons of our Arab nation, noting that the campaign It includes the Nasserite Popular Organization, the Lebanese People’s Congress, the Al-Mourabitoun, the Popular Rescue and Ambulance Societies, the Nasserite Popular Rescue Regiment, and the Lebanese National Crescent for the Al-Mourabitoun to participate and provide whatever capabilities they can to help the people of Aleppo al-Shahba.

Hamdan said: Syria is always destined, and after every crisis or calamity, to emerge stronger, to return to the beating heart of Arabism, and to unite the Arabs. No one can separate us.

Hamdan offered the Governor of Aleppo, Hussein Diab, and the Secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Ahmed Mansour, condolences for the victims of the earthquake disaster, expressing the Lebanese people's support for the Syrian people in their ordeal and readiness to provide everything that would mitigate the severity of the disaster.

The governor of Aleppo and the secretary of the party branch thanked the Lebanese side for this kind initiative and sympathy for the earthquake victims, stressing the brotherly ties between the two peoples in the two brotherly countries.

Hamdan also visited a center to shelter families affected by the earthquake in the Suleiman Al-Halabi neighborhood, and was briefed on the subsidies and assistance provided to the people.
