Today, the Ministry of Education received 25 million Syrian Pounds from the administration of the Al-Taleqe Model Private School in Rif Dimashq, after carrying out a voluntary community donation campaign with its students to participate in supporting those affected by the earthquake.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, stressed during his meeting with a number of the school's students and teaching staff the educational role and social responsibility carried out by schools and their administrations, which included, in addition to voluntary donation campaigns, hosting families affected by the earthquake in 139 schools in the cities of Aleppo and Lattakia, and securing their various needs.
The school's principal, Rawa Tohme, confirmed that the school's contribution comes within the framework of the humanitarian and educational duty, and in solidarity with the earthquake victims on the part of the school administration and students.
