As part of the efforts to relief the areas affected by the earthquake, which are carried out by the people of Al-Hasakah Governorate, with their various components and activities,
A new relief convoy was organized today from the center of the city of Hasakah, and an aid convoy provided by the people of Qamishli and the rest of the cities will join it, before it is sent to the affected people in the rest of the provinces.
And the governor of Hasakah, Dr. Louay Sayoh, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the governorate join hands and cooperate to help our people affected by the devastating earthquake, despite the suffering of the people of Hasakah from the occupation and the difficult conditions resulting from the drought during the past years.
The Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch, Engineer Turki Aziz Hassan, said: The convoy is a message of love and giving to our afflicted people, and to confirm that our pain is one and that we share the pain of the earthquake-stricken cities and regions.
The young man, Iyad al-Saleh, who participated in the youth initiative, mentioned that a variety of winter clothes estimated at 5,000 pieces for different ages were collected and sent as part of the convoy, as a contribution from the young men and women of the province, and in support of the efforts made by the people of Hasakah to support our afflicted people.
A member of the Board of Directors of Al-Yamamah Charitable Foundation, Ismail Taha, said: The Foundation provided a quantity of medicine and money, with the aim of contributing to relief efforts, providing a helping hand and assistance to families affected by the earthquake, and emphasizing the solidarity of the Syrian people and their ability to overcome difficulties and tribulations.
