Today, a convoy of humanitarian aid arrived in Lattakia from Iraq to support those affected by the earthquake.
Brigadier General Hassan Ali of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement to SANA reporter: The new convoy of aid for the Syrian people, consisting of 33 vehicles, set out from Baghdad loaded with humanitarian aid and foodstuffs for those affected by the earthquake, and in solidarity with the Syrian people, stressing that by virtue of the relations of brotherhood and love. Between the two brotherly peoples, we had to extend a helping hand to the Syrians.
In turn, a member of the Executive Office in Lattakia Governorate, Dr. Mualla Ibrahim, praised the Iraqi people's support for the Syrians in their ordeal.
