The series worn by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) will be entitled to a sequel thanks to the American channel.

Added to the long list of content canceled by Netflix, the

Uncoupled

series is given a second chance.

Showtime has just positioned itself to air an additional season, according to

Variety

.

This decision comes as the American channel announced that it had reached an agreement with Paramount +, another streaming platform.

No release date has yet been announced.

Launched in July 2022,

Uncoupled

is worn by Neil Patrick Harris.

The actor already seen in

How I Met Your Mother

and

The Disastrous Adventures of Orphans Baudelaire

plays a real estate broker who has just been left by her boyfriend after 17 years together.

He must then rebuild his whole life at the dawn of his fifties in New York City.

Yet in the Netflix Top 10

Even if

Uncoupled

had reached the Top 10 most-watched series on Netflix, accumulating more than 26.6 million hours of viewing, the platform announced last January not to renew this collaboration with the creator of Sex and the

city

and most recently

Emily in Paris

, Darren Star.

The reason given was that the show only lasted a short time in the list of popular content.

Only one season is currently visible to subscribers.

Recently, Netflix has accumulated series cancellations at the end of a single and unique season, such as

1899

, the finale of which leaves a taste of unfinished,

Inside Job

or

The Midnight Club

.

Anger is brewing among subscribers to the point that some are even calling for a boycott of the platform.
