Today, Deir Ezzor City Council evacuated two buildings from their residents, as they threaten public safety.
The head of the Deir ez-Zor City Council, Engineer Jarir Kakakhan, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the city council, in cooperation with the Public Safety Committee, after conducting a complete survey of the buildings in the city's neighborhoods to ensure that they were not damaged by the earthquake, found that the technical condition of two residential buildings in Al-Thawra neighborhood and Al-Jubaila neighborhood constituted a danger. On public safety and requires immediate treatment, due to the presence of cracks and collapse in some columns.
And he indicated that the Deir ez-Zor City Council evacuated the two buildings from their residents, and set warning signs that prevent entry or approach to them, and organized the necessary control in that regard.
The head of the city council called on citizens to exercise caution, take precautions, and stay away from buildings that are about to fall and raise suspicions, and to inform the Public Safety Committee in order to conduct the necessary examination of buildings that have been exposed to cracks or collapses in all neighborhoods of the city.
