The popular island nation is indeed considered a paradise for tourists, but at the same time there are also some things that are important to know about it that can be a little less pleasant, such as the Cuban jellyfish, the dangerous roads and also an issue that affects quite a few Israeli tourists and tourists from all over the world - payment for damage to jet skis.

Many of those who have visited the country are already familiar with the issue - many tourists rent jet skis, get out of the water without anything special happening and suddenly are asked to pay very high sums, which can even reach thousands of shekels, for damage they allegedly caused to the jet ski.

With a short stroll on YouTube, you can find videos of tourists from all over the world documenting the phenomenon, and with a quick search on Facebook you can find quite a few posts on the subject accompanied by quite a few responses from Israelis who have seen the phenomenon or experienced it themselves.

It is important to emphasize that this does not happen all the time and in every company, but it is not a rare phenomenon.

Experts for Thailand recommend thinking twice before renting a jet ski, and if you do - they recommend taking a long and detailed video of the jet ski before going out with it, so that when you return to the beach they cannot demand payment from you for damage that already existed.

At the same time, if you feel that you have been stung, experts in everything related to trips in the country recommend contacting the local police and showing them the documentation you made before renting the jet ski.
