Another type of cherry blossom in Tai Po Seaside Park, the "Double-petalled Cherry Blossom" (Yae Sakura), was in full bloom in the relay. Spring is here and a hundred flowers are in full bloom. The variety of Weikai cherry blossoms in Tai Po Seaside Park is the double-petalled mountain cherry (Yae Sakura), which is reddish in color and bell-shaped. The petals overlap and droop, showing a slightly shy shape.
Although there are not many in number, the unique color of the double-petaled cherry blossoms has become the protagonist in the park, which is eye-catching.
Cherry blossoms are not the only ones blooming in the park. The nearby hydrangea gardens are colorful, with blue, purple, pink, and yellow petals overlapping each other, each blooming in full bloom. The fragrance of the flowers is intoxicating everywhere.
In addition, in On King Street Park, Shimen, Shatin, another cherry blossom viewing spot, a row of Fuji cherry blossoms in the park have also begun to bloom recently. About 50% of them have already bloomed, and they are expected to be fully bloomed within a few days.
