Justice Minister Yariv Levin announced today (Sunday) that later he will present a government decision according to which the Supreme Court has no possibility to discuss the matter of the impeachment of a prime minister.
The minister's words come as a response to the Supreme Court's request from Prime Minister Netanyahu and prosecutor Baharav Miara to respond within a month to the petition regarding the extradition of Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Minister of Transportation Miri Regev said about this today before the cabinet meeting: "The petition needs to be taken to the gates. I call on President Hayut to roll out the petition from all levels, it is not within their authority to discuss this matter. In a dictatorship, a coup is carried out with tanks, and here a coup is carried out with a legal document. The people Chosen and said his word, we will not allow this petition to come to fruition. I am calling to live to be the responsible adult."

Yesterday, the heads of the coalition parties released a statement against the debate on Netzrat, which reads: "The heads of the coalition parties strongly reject the illegitimate discussion in the High Court regarding the Prime Minister's 'Netzrat'.
This is an illegal attempt to oust a sitting prime minister, which is no different from a military coup."
