Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today (Sunday) that "the cabinet will convene for a broad action in East Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria" and that this week the proposal to deny citizenship to Israeli terrorists and deport them will be passed.
This, after the deadly attack that happened on Friday in Jerusalem, in which three Israelis were murdered.
"The appropriate answer to terrorism is to strike at it itself and deepen our roots in our country," Netanyahu said.
At the same time, Justice Minister Yariv Levin is expected to bring before the government a proposed resolution, according to which the government will decide to "firmly reject" a discussion on the impeachment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"This is an illegal attempt to oust a sitting prime minister, which is no different from a military coup," it said.
"No legal entity has the authority to discuss such an action, and any such decision would be the annulment of the election results and therefore the annulment of Israeli democracy."
