Official and popular delegations, Syrian citizens and Arabs residing in Jordan offered condolences to the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Syria, at the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Amman, in addition to continuing to collect aid for those affected.

Many ambassadors and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions present in Jordan, heads of partisan, political and popular activities, and university presidents offered condolences today, expressing their deepest sympathy to the Syrian leadership, government and people. They also wished a speedy recovery for the injured, affirming their solidarity and standing with Syria in this great calamity.

Among those who offered condolences were the Iranian ambassador, the Brazilian ambassador, the Pakistani ambassador, the Lebanese ambassador, the Cypriot ambassador, the Czech ambassador, the Mexican ambassador, the chargé d'affaires of the UAE embassy, ​​the chargé d'affairs of the Tunisian embassy, ​​the chargé d'affaires of the Swiss embassy, ​​the chargé d'affaires of the Iraqi embassy, ​​the Bahraini deputy ambassador, a counselor from the Sudanese embassy, ​​a consul from the Malaysian embassy, ​​and a consul from the Malaysian embassy.  In turn, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization for Relief, Development and International Cooperation, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, confirmed that Jordan has provided all available capabilities to provide relief to families affected by earthquakes in Syria.

He added, in a statement to SANA reporter in Amman, that since the earthquake occurred in Syria, royal directives have been issued to provide all forms of assistance to the brotherly Syrian people, and the response was quick by moving two air cargo planes and a land convoy, in addition to providing ambulances, indicating that Jordan, through the Hashemite Charitable Organization, is following up. daily work with our brothers in Syria to provide all the needs and shortcomings needed by the afflicted and injured families and families.

Al-Shibli stressed the importance of coordination with all official bodies in Syria and international and humanitarian organizations to deliver aid as quickly as possible to alleviate the suffering of those affected in the stricken cities. provide all needs.

For his part, the Syrian Ambassador to Amman, Issam Niyal, praised the great role played by the Hashemite Charity Organization for International Relief, through its efforts in organizing and collecting donations from all official and private Jordanian state institutions, civil society organizations and citizens.

Niall pointed out that limiting the collection and sending of humanitarian aid to the Hashemite Charity Organization had a clear impact on organization and excellence, to ensure that the process is far from chaos in sending aid to Syria.
