On video: naval exercise of the armies of Iran and Russia (from Twitter)
Iran has smuggled advanced armed drones to Russia using government-owned vessels and aircraft for the war in Ukraine - sources in Tehran reported today (Sunday). According to sources, these drones were manufactured at the military factory in the city of Isfahan, which was bombed in an attack attributed to Israel last month.
According to the report, at least 18 drones were smuggled in this way to the Russian army. This, following the visit of Russian officers to Tehran last November, during which they were shown combat technologies. According to the reports, during the same visit of the
Russian army delegation to Tehran, its personnel chose six drones of the type "Mohajr-6", which have a range of about 200 km and are capable of carrying two missiles under each wing. Along with them, another 12 UAVs of the "Shahad" type 191 and 192, which also have the ability to attack from the air, were smuggled out.
These are more advanced drones than the suicide drones that Iran has already delivered to Russia, and unlike them, they are designed to drop bombs and then return to their base intact.

It was also reported that most of the drones smuggled into Russia were secretly collected by Iranian vessels from a base located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, and then transported by Russian military boat. Other drones were sent via a state-owned Iranian airline.
The smuggled drones were manufactured at a military plant in the city of Isfahan, which was bombed in an attack attributed to Israel last January. According to the media in the United States, this attack stemmed from Israel's own security concerns, and not from intervention in the war in Ukraine.
