As-Suwayda - SANA
This evening, a convoy of aid provided by the people of the governorate to the people of the affected areas in Hama governorate arrived this evening from As-Suwayda governorate.
The aid convoy, consisting of two trucks, according to Raghadi al-Ghouthani, a member of the Executive Office of the Suwayda Governorate Council, included in a statement to SANA reporter about 17 tons of various foodstuffs, tissues, infant formula, clothes, coats, medicines, blankets, apples, potatoes, canned foods, and clothes.
Al-Ghouthani pointed out that this aid comes as part of the ongoing campaign launched by the governorate under the title “From family to family.” This matter is not new or strange for the people of As-Suwayda, who are known for their national affiliation and their high enthusiasm for supporting and aiding their affected brothers from various governorates as a result of the earthquake disaster.
In turn, the head of the Hama Governorate Council, Eng. Ibrahim Mualla, thanked the people of As-Suwayda for this kind initiative that expresses an honorable national position and reflects the highest levels of solidarity and interdependence among the people of Syria who came to support each other.
