A second Indian plane loaded with relief aid for those affected by the earthquake arrived at Damascus International Airport today.
The Chargé d'Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Damascus, Satinder Kumar Yadav, said in a statement to SANA that the plane is the second, with a larger payload of about 30 tons of aid to support those affected by the earthquake.
Yadav explained that the aid carried by the plane includes about 24 tons of medicines, clothes and blankets, in addition to four electric generators, stressing that the Republic of India stands with the Syrian people in their great affliction after the earthquake that struck the country.
It is noteworthy that the first Indian plane arrived last Wednesday at Damascus International Airport, carrying humanitarian and medical aid for those affected by the earthquake.
