Several windshields of vehicles in Hazor HaGalilit were smashed tonight (Sunday), and pages were placed on them that read "This is just the beginning - the Abu Latif family."

The commander of the North District of the police attacked the family following the destruction of the vehicles and said in response: "The organization's harm to innocent citizens is a vile and cowardly act."
The "Abu Latif" crime family, which according to the police is responsible for smashing the windows in Hazor, is a Druze family from the village of Rama in the Galilee that operates in the north and is a major target of the police.
According to the police, the organization is headed by four brothers and their names have been linked to the collection of sponsorship fees, involvement in public tenders, shootings and murders.

Last week, 21 members of the organization were arrested in a raid on their homes, as part of an investigation that uncovered tax evasion worth a billion shekels and earned the nickname "The Black Billionaire".
Among other things, 28 luxury cars were confiscated during the raid, including Lamborghini, Maybach and Mercedes, one and a half million shekels in cash and checks with a total value of tens of millions of shekels.
