President Bashar Al-Assad received a phone call from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazwani, in which he expressed his country's stand and its people's solidarity with Syria, following its exposure to the devastating earthquake.
President Al-Ghazwani offered his deepest condolences to President Al-Assad and the Syrian people, asking God for mercy for the victims, and for the injured to recover quickly.
For his part, President al-Assad thanked the Mauritanian President for his condolences and his country's stances in support of the Syrian people.
